L1 a Painting (landscape, portrait, abstract etc.) in any medium, any size
L1-006 The judge said: “A lovely Scottish scene showing excellent rendition of reflections, very good colour balance of the mountains in the background, a good variety of greens and blues in the middle distance and foreground. The artist captures an excellent feeling of space!”
L1-003 The judge said: “Hilarious expression and lovely hairdo. Excellent use of colour and brushwork when painting this subject with even a twinkle in his eyes.”

L3 a 3-Dimensional Work in any medium, any size
L3-001 The judge said: “A great deal of skill is shown in the building of this castle with windows, incorporating a light within. The slab–built structure with turret, decorative textures and carefully cut-out arched windows is an excellent piece of ceramics. I would be interested to see it lit up in the dark.”
L3-003 The judge said: “I like the repetition of the heart shapes and use of textures in this beautifully glazed handbuilt item.”
L3-002 The judge said: “Abstract image of five rectangular shapes, hand-built textures resembling tree trunks. Surface shapes like bark with added interest of bright colours with at least one heart included.”
