Plant Sale 2021

The Horti Plant Sale went ahead in 2021, but without the coffee morning, due to Coronavirus restrictions. It was held outside in the Village Hall car park on Saturday 22 May.

The weather was kind to us and we sold nearly all of the plants in the first hour. Having the Heritage Trail opening the same day, helped boost interest and showed the village coming out of the pandemic hibernation.

Chair of KCHS Heather Wright said: “It was lovely to see so many people out and about and the new surge in gardening has certainly helped our sales.

 

“There was a good throng of people throughout the morning and we thank everyone who bought produce.”
